2016: Summer 11+ Mock Exam Results from Mock Here is a summary of Mr Barber's results from last Sunday’s mock. English accounts for half of the overall mark, Maths and NVR about a quarter each. The marks are adjusted for age. Remember it’s a one-off mark and should be viewed in the broad picture of how he has done all year. Target pass marks are 60-65% if aiming for a Marling/SHS score. Overall : 61% - Borderline pass. English: 64% - Inconsistent. Comprehension very good. Cloze types less good. Maths: 54% - A little weak generally. NVR: 60% - ok in most but weaker in 'series' types questions His technique was quite good. Timing pretty quick, checking still not using all time available. Manner lively but concentration seemed fine. I would focus holiday work on the maths. The bars to the right are the average marks for the group of 11 pupils. Marks are weighted to be a pass at about 60%. | 2015 Summer 11+ Mock Exam Results from Mock Overall age adjusted mark: 53% Target range 60-65%..
